Senior Mechanical Engineer and co-founder of PORAS MECHANICAL WORKS, Ali Kestek designed and manufactured four Hydraulic Rotary Transfer Machines for the mass production of domestically developed oven gas valves.
Following the proven success of these machines, commercial production was launched. Ali Kestek initiated manufacturing operations under the name AKT Makine in the Istanbul Leather Organized Industrial Zone.

Fatih Kestek joined the company as Coordinator, bringing fresh energy and a renewed strategic vision.
The company completed its first export by delivering a rotary transfer machine to the United Kingdom.
The first CNC Rotary Transfer Machines equipped with single and dual-axis units were developed, paving the way for the YT Series Units and Advance Series Machines.
The company made its debut at EMO Hannover by introducing the Programmable Expansion Hydraulic Rotary Transfer Machine alongside the new Advance CNC Rotary Transfer Machine.
A state-of-the-art manufacturing facility was established in the Istanbul Industrial and Trade Free Zone. Production of hydraulic models was discontinued in favor of fully advanced CNC Rotary Transfer Machines.
The first 3-axis Machining Center Unit was developed, leading to the creation of the MT Series Unit Family. This advancement enabled the machining of steel and aluminum automotive components, while robotic automation applications also began to take shape during this period.
The company entered the Eurasian market with its first export to the region.
Fatih Kestek was appointed as General Manager in recognition of his significant contributions to the company’s growth and innovation.
Magazine-type bar feeders were developed, enabling CNC Rotary Transfer Machines to process parts directly from raw bar stock. Participation in the METALLOOBRABOTKA Fair reinforced the company’s presence in the Eurasian market.
Angle-adjustable 4-axis and 5-axis units were developed, followed by the launch of the new MAC Series featuring high-speed spindles and Direct Drive Technology. The first TÜBİTAK 1507 R&D project was successfully completed on a CNC Rotary Transfer Machine with 40-axis interpolation capability.
The F1 Series Unit and Machine Family was launched, introducing the first 55-axis CNC Rotary Transfer Machine capable of interpolation across 18 independent 3-axis units. The second TÜBİTAK 1507 R&D project, focused on a dual-bar feeder configuration, was also successfully completed.
KESTECH Machinery was officially established in Chicago, USA, with a sales office, technical service team, and assembly center.
The third TÜBİTAK 1507 R&D project, featuring a robotic part stacking application with integrated measurement and control systems, was successfully completed.
KESTECH was officially admitted to the TÜBİTAK MAM Technology Free Zone with full R&D and manufacturing licenses. The Eco, Pro, and Micron Series units and machines were introduced, marking the 5th generation of development and achieving a machining precision level of 10 microns (0.01 mm).
The fourth TÜBİTAK 1507 R&D project was launched, focusing on the development of a dedicated Lock Machining Line.
KESTECH joined the Robotic Automation UR-GE Project led by the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry.
The fifth TÜBİTAK 1507 R&D project was approved for the development of a CNC Rotary Transfer Machine capable of simultaneous machining on six different surfaces. Additionally, a TÜBİTAK 1707 Demand-Driven R&D Project was accepted to achieve interpolation machining with a 5-micron tolerance.
New countries—including France, Spain, Mexico, India, and Egypt—were added to the service and distribution network. KESTECH now responds to customer requests within 24 hours across 14 countries. The sixth TÜBİTAK 1507 R&D project was approved, focusing on workpiece rotation integration for turning operations.
The next-generation DDM65 Direct Drive Micro Machining Unit series has been launched, offering spindle speeds of 20,000 to 100,000 rpm and axial rapid motion capability of 20 m/min—ideal for ultra-precise micro component machining.
With a €6 million investment—65% of which was allocated to Mazak machining systems—production capacity was increased by 30%. All new machines now feature simultaneous 5-, 6-, and 7-axis interpolation capabilities, improving single-pass part precision by 20–25%.
With the expansion of its production facility, KESTECH increased its annual manufacturing capacity and can now produce up to 30 CNC Rotary Transfer Machines per year—setting a new benchmark in scalable precision manufacturing.
